Jack Kevorkian once known as Dr. Death is in the news again however this time for the good reasons, as Al Pacino is going to star in a movie named “You Don’t Know Jack” on his life produced by HBO.

Al Pacino will play the former pathologist who helped 130 patients end their lives over a 10-year period before being sent to prison in 1999 for second-degree murder. He invented two devices the Thanatron (death machine) and Mercitron (mercy machine) — to pump lethal drugs or gas to terminally ill individuals, and performed his first assisted suicide in 1990.

He was sentenced to 10-25 years in prison and was released on parole in 2007 2007 due to good behavior. He also ran for United States Congress to represent Michigan’s 9th congressional district in 2008, however lost miserably.

He now gives occasional public lectures. Well i don’t think if he has helped someone end their life just because they wanted to becomes a crime. If someone wants to die instead of living miserable life then that should be their right.

Tomasz Adamek won an intensive 12-round battle against Chris Arreola to defend his IBF international heavyweight title on Saturday night at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif.

As fanhouse reported:-

A 33-year-old, Polish-born, former light heavyweight (175 pounds) and cruiserweight (200 pounds) champ, Adamek improved to 41-1, with 27 knockouts, against the hard-punching, 29-year-old, heavyweight contender Arreola (28-2, 25 KOs), who is from Riverside, Calif.

Aldo vs Faber fight was an exciting piece of action to watch and it provided all the adrenaline rush that i had hoped for before the start of the match. Aldo retained his championship title by defeating Urijah Faber, 49-45, 49-45, 50-45 at the WEC 48.

As MMAMania puts it:-

The fifth round was a mere footnote in an otherwise lopsided fight. Aldo coasted to a dominant unanimous decision win over a very good and talented Faber. Aldo is so good that in the end he didn't look remotely tired or even touched for that matter.

The fight was a tough one as it continued for 5 gruesome rounds in the cage, so it was obvious that it wouldn’t have been easy for any of the fighters with people cheering for your name or booing you. However it was clear from the start that Aldo had an advantage.
